Sol Cresta uses the same methods of formation and docking as Terra Cresta's classic shooting game Moon Cresta. It also features the latest "free-form docking system". The most famous Yamato comprises three ships Amaterasu, Tsukuyomi, and Susano are able to utilize different types of attack dependent on the way in which three of the ships are placed. Splitting, docking and refitting the vessels when needed is the key to defeating the armies of Mandler.
